WAITING LIST OPENING - BARTON AND BRIARWOOD
The Housing Authority of the City of Shreveport (HACS) will accept Barton Drive and Briarwood Village applications for 3-bedroom units beginning at 8:00 a.m., CST, Friday, September 15, 2023 and closing at 5:00 p.m.,CST, Friday, September 29, 2023
Applications from families will be accepted and added to the Barton Manor and Briarwood Village, waiting lists. Online applications can be submitted at https://northwestla.apply4housing.com No paper applications will be available.
Assistance to complete the application process, due to a disability, will be provided by telephone at 318.698.3626. If assistance cannot be completed by telephone, then an appointment can be scheduled between the hours of 8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Applications will be ranked by the Housing Authority based on the date and time the electronic information is entered and a confirmation number is received by the applicant.
Applicants will need the following items in order to complete the application:
· A valid email address
· Names, social security numbers, and date of birth for all household members included on the application
· A valid mailing address at the time of application
· Total household income
· Pen and paper to write down confirmation number
Applicants are responsible for keeping their address updated in the Applicant Portal. The Applicant Portal can be accessed at https://northwestla.applicants4housing.com/Public/Login/Login.aspx The Applicant Portal can only be accessed by applicants who have submitted an application. HACS is not responsible for undeliverable mail.
WAITING LIST OPENING - PUBLIC HOUSING
The Housing Authority of the City of Shreveport (HACS) will accept Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) applications beginning at 8:00 a.m., CST, Monday, October 02, 2023 and closing at 7:59 a.m.,CST, Wednesday, October 04, 2023.
Applications from families will be accepted and added to the Housing Choice Voucher waiting list.
Online applications can be submitted at https://northwestla.apply4housing.com
No paper applications will be available.
