ACH Direct Deposit for Vendors
Beginning January 1, 2027, the Housing Authority of the City of Shreveport (HACS) will pay vendor invoices by ACH direct deposit instead of by paper check. ACH payments reach your bank faster and can’t be lost or stolen in the mail.
How to enroll
Complete our secure online enrollment form. It takes about 5 minutes.
Before you start, have these ready to upload:
- A voided check, or a letter on your bank’s letterhead confirming your routing number, account number and account holder name. Starter checks, deposit slips and bank statements are not accepted.
- A completed, signed and dated IRS Form W-9. You can download a blank W-9 at irs.gov/FormW9.
What happens next
A member of our Accounting staff will call you to confirm your information before ACH is activated. We’ll also send a test transaction to your bank to make sure the account is set up correctly.
Protect your business from payment fraud
HACS will never ask you to change your bank account information by email or phone alone. If you get an email, call or text that appears to come from HACS asking for your banking details or asking you to change where payments go, don’t respond.
Please do not email bank account information to anyone at HACS.
